Pentabus Theatre Company is seeking to appoint a part-time Development Officer to work with the team to develop and implement the Business Partnerships & Corporate Giving strategy and Individual Giving strategy. The post holder will work closely with the Executive Team (the company is led by a joint leadership team of Artistic Director and Managing Director) and part-time Development Manager (who has responsibility primarily for Trusts & Foundations) to develop the case for support, identify partners and supporters and assist in negotiations and campaigns to secure funds against given targets. Pentabus is a touring theatre company but it is not essential that the post-holder has an arts background, we appreciate that candidates with experience and/or training from other sectors will also have a lot to bring to the role. Consultant support will also be provided.

From our Shropshire base we tour to village halls, theatres and festivals around the country, telling stories with local relevance and national impact. Salary: £23,000 pro rata
