Inspired by the SLOW FOOD MOVEMENT we invited six of the UK’s best new writers to spend a week in the country finding out where the food on your plate comes from. What they produced was a feast of the surprising, the political and the absurd. Rehearsed readings of brand new ten-minute plays by: Nicola Jones, Debbie McAndrew, Tim Price, Alan Pollock and Abbie Spallen received their first airing at the Edinburgh Festival 2009.
