Light in Water is a play about the countryside and what it means to find your place within it.
Teenager Joe is hurting; his grandmother Jane needs healing. On the other side of the fields, Ellie attempts to re-build her father’s farm. Into these two households comes Adam, a man with a belief so strong it threatens to burn them all.
Set in a brutal, beautiful landscape constantly on the edge of fracture, Light in Water is about faith and humanity, about falling apart and being put back together again and about people trying to save each other from the silence.
We're delighted to doing a rehearsed reading of this new play at the HighTide Festival.
