Fenna de Jonge
Fenna de Jonge is a performance designer from the Netherlands. She studied for her MA at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and has a BA in Design from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
In her process, she likes to work experimental and transform the ordinary through intuitive making and fluid collaboration. Within Fenna’s work, she looks for rich multi-layer spaces and the quality of texture and colour. She has a strong passion for community-led projects and advocates for the experience of young people in the creative industry.
Her work includes set & costume design: Trouble in Tahiti (RWCMD); The Enchanted Pig (Leeds Youth Opera); The Journey (Tête a Tête Festival); London Road (RWCMD); The London Merchant (Sherman Theatre); La Cenerentola (Longhope Opera); The Monster in the Maze (Music in the Round). Production design includes: The Graduation (Short Film with It’s my Shout, BBC Cymru).
