Jo is Assistant Resident Director at Salisbury Playhouse as part of the Regional Theatre Young Director’s Scheme. She is Co-Artistic Director of Tin Box Theatre Company and part of the team managing PILOT Nights, Birmingham.

Directing credits include: Stop The Clocks (site-specific performance at Newman Bros Coffin Works); Not Known at This Address (BAC/MAC/The Last Refuge/The Robinson Theatre). With Tin Box, Jo was a theatre maker on the Birmingham Rep Foundry Programme and part of New Diorama Theatre Emerging Theatre Companies Scheme 2013. Assistant Directing credits include: The Magna Carta Plays, Bike, Fallen Angels, Clause 39 (Co-director), Little Shop of Horrors (Also Mercury Theatre Colchester) (Salisbury Playhouse); The Palace of Wasted Dreams (Women and Theatre/MAC).

Jo has previously been on Board of Directors for Sampad South Asian Arts,  has worked as an Administration and Projects Assistant with Birmingham Opera Company, a script-reader at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Visiting Lecturer at University of Wolverhampton and Dramaturg with Jerrel Jackson Dance Company.
