Johanna has designed the lighting for the National Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, Sheffield Crucible, English Touring Theatre, Manchester Royal Exchange and over 50 productions for The Royal Court. She is an Associate Artist for Theatre 503 where credits include The Life of Stuff (Offie nomination for ‘Best Lighting Designer’).
Opera includes Porgy & Bess (Royal Danish Opera), Rinaldo (Estonian National Opera); Carmen and Kátya Kabanová (Scottish Opera). Johanna is an Honorary Fellow at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
