Julian Garner
Julian’s twenty-odd plays have been performed widely in England and Scandinavia (where he has spent most of his adult life) as well as Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Canada and the USA. He was awarded the Ibsen Prize in Norway for The Awakening. In the UK his work includes: Golden Leaf Strut (The Bush), Cyril’s Little Moments (Bristol Old Vic), Guardia Angels (Coventry Belgrade) The Flight Into Egypt (Hampstead Theatre).
He has spent several periods as writer on attachment at the National Theatre Studio, where he developed Silent Engine and completed The Bear Table for the International Connections Festival.
