Pentabus are proud to champion the work of rising writers. In 2022, we worked with 10 talented playwrights as part of National Writers Group.
The group were encouraged to tell stories that were important to them and supported through the drafting process, skills sessions and detailed feedback.

Pentabus’ ground-breaking Young Writers Programme offers free playwriting workshops for young people aged 16-30 with professional playwrights, actors, directors, producers and designers, culminating in professionally produced work.
Applications for the 2023 National Young Writers Group open on Thursday 10 November and close on Monday 5 December.
